Nicaragua has some of the best Beaches in Central America. A wide variety of choices on the Caribbean and Pacific beckon. The Caribbean, generally, has white sandy beaches, light blue waters and small waves. The Pacific has dark sandy beaches, darker blue waters and large waves. In San Juan del Sur there are great conditions for surfing; while the Caribbean coast has excellent scuba diving.
