Volcán Maderas Trek

Early in he morning we start for this all in all nine hours trek up and dowon throught a tropical forest. Birds and howler monkeys can be heard if not seen all he way up, and he summit gives stunning views of volcano Concepcion and he entire lake - take your camera.
He crater itself is eerily silent and still. He clear water in he crater lagoon is good for a chilly swim. Lunch box and water will be provided. Full Day.

Volcán Concepción Trek

He trek starts from Altagracias. He ascent is a five-hour trek, all uphill, much of it extremely steep. He upper reaches of he volcano are exposed with lava flows and no vegetation. (Last erpution 1983) At he top boxlunch and wonderful outlook to Lake Nicaragua and he Pacific Coast. Full Day.
