Day 3 (B/L/-) Mombacho Volcano
Early in the morning we start up to the cloud covered forest of
Mombacho Volcano. We will make memories of the countless
images that the flora and fauna of this dormant colossus offer •
After lunch we depart from the port of Asese for a trip on Lake
Cocibolca. As we cruise between scores of islands, you can forget

Day 4 (B/L/D) Solentiname - Isla Mancarrón Transfer To the port of Granada. There we start, by a catamaran
motor boat to the Solentiname Archipelago • After a delicious
seafood lunch, we walk from the Hotel Mancarrón to El Refugio,
a small village of artists • There you may enjoy the colorful art
and sculptures of the primitive artists. Later, we visit an indigenous

Day 5 (B/L/D) Artisans and Painters
After a delicious breakfast, we use the morning for relaxing, or
a swim in the Lake. In the afternoon we take a boat ride onthe

A half-day motorboat tour inside the Los GuatuzosWildlife
Refuge-the only internationally registered tropical wetlands

Day 2 (B/L/D) BLUEFIELDS - SAN JUAN DEL NORTE
We start with a charter plane to the Caribbean town of
Bluefields and go from there by a motorboat to San Juan del
Norte • In the afternoon we visit Old San Juan, passing by the
historic draga (dredge) in the magnificent Blue Lagoon •

Day 3 (B/L/D) RIO INDIO Early in the morning, we start up the Rio Indio for bird watching
at Rio Caño Negro. We find a paradise of red and green parrots,

Day 4 (B/L/D) SILICO LAGOON
Early in the morning, we leave by motorboat to the Rio
Sanjuanillo and enter a wet tropical rainforest of Siloco Lagoon.

Day 5 (B/L/D) BARTOLA
After breakfast we leave on the river Rio San Juan for the historic
El Castillo area. On the way stops for bird watching •

Day 6 (B/L/D) SOLENTINAME
After bird watching early in the morning (tucans) we visit the
Fortress of the Inmaculada Concepcion and go ahead to the
Solentiname Archipelago • After a delicious seafood lunch, We
visit "El Refugio", the small village of artists where you be able
to enjoy the colorful art and sculptures of the primitive artists
who do mainly copies of the abounded bird population around
them. Excellent birdwatching in the afternoon • Overnight Hotel

Day 7 (B/L/D) SOLENTINAME - MANAGUA
Early morning bird watching. After breakfast, we take the boat
from Solentiname to San Carlos and return to Managua by
plane. In the afternoon optional visit to the old downtown area

Day 8 (B/-/-) DEPARTURE MANAGUA
Transfer to the international Airport of Managua. Flight back

Before Sunrise we start to Telica Volcano for be on the top when

near Telica Volcano, the boilers of San Jacinto. The nearby
micro craters provide a show with steamy gas emissions •

Day 5 (B/L/-) VOLCANO CERRO NEGRO (ACTIVE)
Early in the morning we depart in FWD vehicles and, later, journey
on foot to the peak. From the vehicle we view the black lava
fields and, later, are awed by Nature's paintings in yellow, red,
green, black, and every color in between. All of the color is produced
by the constant escape of sulfuric gases. • Visit to
Asosoca Lagoon and return to Managua • Overnight Hotel Best

In the morning we travel with private bus and ferry to the island
of Ometepe. Relax with a swim in Lake Nicaragua in the afternoon

Day 7 (B/L/-) VOLCANO CONCEPCION (ACTIVE)
Early in the morning trek starts from Altagracias. The ascent is
a five-hour trek, all uphill, much of it extremely steep. He upper
reaches of he volcano are exposed with lava flows and no vegetation.

outlook to Lake Nicaragua and the Pacific Coast • Overnight at

Day 8 (B/L/-) VOLCANO MOMBACHO AND MASAYA(ACTIVE)
After breakfast transfer back to the main land with direction to
the cloud forest covered Volcano Mombacho. This dormant volcano
offer an interesting nature phenomenon, it created during
the last eruption 300 islets in Lake Nicaragua • In the afternoon
visit to the National Arts and Crafts Market in Masaya • Over
night on the crater Santiago in the Masaya Volcano National Park.

Day 9 (B/-/-) MANAGUA
In the morning visit to the caves of the Masaya Volcano and
transfer to Managua. Afternoon free. Good bye dinner •

Pirates Route [10 Days / 9 Nights]
From the Caribbean Sea to Solentiname Archipelago

When the Spanish Empire ruled the world seas the English Crown sponsored irregular seaforces to disturb them. The pirates Sir Francis Drake, Captain Morgan and others did a very successful job and left a lot of interesting memories in the Caribbean. Specially Corn Island and the Nicaraguan Atlantic Coast were attacked and protected by the pirates and the English Crown. Come with us to discover this unknown and fascinating history.

Day 1 Arrival Managua
Arrival at Managua International Airport. Pick up and transfer to the Hotel Best Western Las Mercedes. Welcome cocktail.

Day 2 Corn Island
In the morning we take a plane to Corn Island in the Caribbean Sea. Introduction on the pirates history Overnight Club-Hotel Paraiso

Day 3 Corn Island
Beach day and visit to an Overnight Club-Hotel Paraiso

Day 4 Corn Island - Bluefields
We leave early and journey to the Caribbean town of Bluefields. Overnight South Atlantic Hotel

Day 5 Bluefields - San Juan del Norte
After breakfast, we leave for San Juan del Norte. On the way we stop at Monkey Point Bay. a very calm Caribbean Bahia (or bay) populated by a community of people of African descent. We meet them, splash about in the sea and then have a picnic-Caribbean-style.

Day 6 Old San Juan
Visit to old San Juan, passing by the historic draga (dredge) in the magnificent Blue Lagoon. We take a guided tour through the past by visiting local English, Catholic, North American and Mason cemeteries. We'll look at the ruins of the Pellas House and the church. Later, we sail up the historic canal built in the 19th Century.

Day 6 Silico Lagoon
A very special tour because few people have seen the lagoon. Early in the morning, we leave by motorboat to the Rio Sanjuanillo-on our way to the Ebo Lagoon. Then we enter a wet tropical rainforest. The teeming water life makes the passage a rare treat. Suddenly, the Silico Lagoon opens its arms and invites a long wide look. Here we leave the boat, and walk into the forest. Red and camouflage frogs receive and prepare us for other animal surprises.

Day 7 El Castillo
After breakfast we leave for El Castillo. There we visit the Fortress of the Inmaculada Concepcion and stay overnight at the Alberge El Castillo Hotel.

Day 8 Solentiname
In the morning, we go to the Solentiname Archipelago. After a delicious seafood lunch, we take a walk from the Mancarrón Hotel towards El Refugio, the small village of artists where we are able to enjoy the colorful art and sculptures of the primitive artists. From there, we walk to an indigenous cemetery and read the past as recorded with petroglyphs. Finally, we come to an exceptional overlook La Reconciliación.

Day 9 Solentiname - Managua
After breakfast, we take the boat from Solentiname to San Carlos and return to Managua by plane. In the afternoon optional visit to the old downtown area of the capital or rest by the swimming pool of the hotel

Day 10 Departure Managua
Transfer to the Managua International Airport for the flight home.
